Heather Foley

Executive Director

Heather Foley has tirelessly worked to better her community since her days in Philadelphia. There she received an undergraduate degree in Theatre & Communications from Temple University and her Masters in Non-Profit Business from Drexel University. After successfully running a theater company in Philly for five years, Heather headed to DC where she was Marketing Team Leader for Whole Foods Market for 10 years. In addition to marketing, she was responsible for community engagement and managing corporate donations including The National Zoo, National Geographic, and countless others.

Heather has had the privilege to serve on the following non-profit boards: Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia, Montgomery Theatre Project, Mum Puppettheatre, DC Diaper Bank (Board Chair), and on the Executive Committee for Shepherds Table. She is most proud of establishing DC Diaper Bank’s Ambassador Program and Shepherds Table’s Gardens for Good. Both programs connect and allow volunteers and donors to help serve easily from their own homes in their own time.

Heather lives in Silver Spring in an awesome mid-century home with a purple sunken bathtub with her husband, Joe, and her kids Sam, Matt and Hannah.
